They have been doing this on the NHL (and probably other EA sports titles too) for a while now.. It's not intrusive, but like others have said , it's about the principle..
I didn't just have $60 laying around and decided to buy a game.. I worked hard for my money and bought a game i genuinely enjoy , not to be taken advantage of by having ads thrown in there.

I have a feeling that regardless of what fanboys or the general audience thinks.. It will do well to push Xbone to better direction and a little head start for themselves since they have been shooting themselves in the foot since the original E3 announcement.

People need to understand that the Console gaming industry NEEDS the Xbox division for healthy competition..
So I for one am happy they are at least improving upon their mistakes...
Sony and the Playstation brand may of been here still but wouldn't be nearly as far as where they are at if it wasn't for the Xbox line and it's healthy competition. (Wii is discredited for obvious reasons)

I absolutely love turn based style and the older FF games.. But this is 2014 and only a select few of us are game for TB style.. The rest of the world wants the other stuff, which imo isn't at all bad..
FF was about STORY, music and character depth.. Being able to feel the emotion within the characters themselves and sucking you into the FF Relm captivating our soul.. THAT'S where they can go back to the roots (FF14 ARR doesn't count since it's an MMO, an amazing MMO b...
I definitely think the X1 will get it first, then maybe down the road, PS4.. But PS4 is already a small beast and light weight too.. So for Sony this time around will be much different I believe, when it comes to the Consoles SKU cycle..
But not for MS and the X1, just like the 360 and it's infamous RROD problems when it released.. It waits till after the console releases it and the consumer beta test it, to decide, to release a better/more manageable console.
I'm sure it will look awesome in 720p.. But it would look even MORE awesome in 1080p Native.. What motivated them to stay with 720?..
Not downplaying the game or devs, but just because they settled on 720p doesn't mean us the gamers have too..

Coming from a PS fan ,i actually love the HALO universe..
i've got fond memories of the early days on the OG xbox and even the Xbox 360..
There is no denying its a fun game to play with friends for sure..
There is a reason so many people play these games , and it's because they like them and have fun playing them.. so they must be doing something right?..
A halo RPG or MMO would be pretty awesome, but I don't think it's the latter.. Wh...
Not gonna lie here,but i actually enjoyed it for what it was ..i haven't bought anything in game yet , but i would not disagree on the score with this game however..
It does have a lot of problems but people also have to remember that it somewhat says on the opening screen "BETA" (although the font makes it hard to notice lol)
So i went into it knowing bugs are going to be a part of the common ground in this game ... the visuals are definitely something...
Man, I'm sort of jealous, sort of.. Cuz i use my Hero 2 all the time and it's amazing .. But I subscribed to their YouTube channel amongst other extreme sports channels that involve the GoPro team .. So all I need is my YouTube app on PS4 and I'm set...

I believe the Steam Machines will give more light to the world of PC gaming to the masses instead of being some Hardcor...

Please do explain how $500 is overpriced for a machine that can run alongside the PS4 and XBone? And some of them are even upgradable..

..I would more than Definitely agree with you NarooN , KZ1 has all my KZ memories .. I put all my hours.. Would even go as far as to say Wasted my teenage life on that game lol..
LOVED the story and at the time it had the most realistic Reloading Mechanics .. MP was definitely something lacking badly but like I said, still put more than 1000 hours into that game..

First of all, let me state that i never said it was fine or i was ok with it..And i don't have a lot of EA titles but i also would disagree that not all of them are "bad" games ..
Just because i have issues with certain things in the games (like ALL games) doesn't mean it sucks.
NHL 14 is my favorite sports game ever but doesn't mean it's perfect or doesn't have flaws..
